2018 is in. Are you?

2017 was a year to remember for Hays Academy of Hair Design students and staff! Not only did we continue to compete in national competitions against other students from New York to LA, but we topped the charts in these competitions. Hays and Salina combined have the population of about 75,000 people. Stylists and brands in the industry had heard about us before and thought that it was maybe by chance that we have placed well. The truth is, we place well because we have students who are willing to do their research, work hard to develop a plan, carry out the plan and produce outstanding results! In the end, Hays Academy of Hair Design has become a nationally known cosmetology school. Kansas is on the map!

We are enthused to have new faces coming to explore our campuses on a daily basis. These people of all ages and backgrounds are looking for something new, something exciting! Our current students and graduate testimonies have shown us that we are on the right track, but our owners and staff aren’t satisfied with being considered a great cosmetology school. We want to be the best cosmetology school in the nation! So much so, we have made it our objective to produce the most hirable, financially responsible graduates in the country. We can say this, but to show it, we have resources not often found in cosmetology schools. This includes a proven business training program, a student services director who works one-on-one with students and salons for job preparation and a family that graduates can rely on for the future.

Bottom line, our success depends upon our graduates successes. If they aren’t flourishing in this industry, we aren’t either. We see daily on social media and in person-our graduates are producing amazing careers and making waves across the nation in this career. We could not be more proud of them, nor more humbled to have been a part of their journey. Where is your journey taking you?

These awards have allowed graduates to travel to places like LA and Las Vegas to compete on stage in hair shows that are broadcast globally! They meet industry celebrities and sometimes even Hollywood celebrities!
