This site is information, not a contract

Everything here, program details, prices, dates, outcome rates, is published in good faith and kept as current as we can. The binding versions of tuition, schedules, and policies are the ones in your enrollment agreement and the student handbook and catalog. If this site and your enrollment agreement ever disagree, the agreement wins.

Enrollment and the policies that bind

Sending a form on this site does not enroll you, reserve a seat, or cost anything. Enrollment happens when you and the school sign an enrollment agreement. The student handbook and catalog, the cancellation and refund policy, the satisfactory academic progress policy, the non-discrimination statement, the Section 504/ADA policy, the Title IX policy, the annual security report, and the published outcome rates are all on the consumer information page, as the school publishes them. Program hours, licensing requirements and the rules for practicing outside Kansas are set by the Kansas Board of Cosmetology and are stated there too.

The scholarship

The Hays Academy Kansas High School Senior Scholarship is one $500 award a year to a senior who will graduate from any Kansas high school. Everything must be received by May 1; the recipient is selected and notified by May 15. The committee's decision is final. An application is not an admission decision, and the award is applied to tuition at Hays Academy; it is not paid in cash. Your essay and transcript are used only to decide the award and are handled as the privacy policy describes.

Forms and contact

Use the forms for yourself, with your own contact details, and keep them accurate. Don't send someone else's information, and don't use scripts or bots against the forms; the site blocks them. The consent checkbox on each form says how we may contact you, and the privacy policy says what we do with what you send.

Salon services

All services are performed by supervised students. Prices marked “& up” are confirmed before your service begins, and appointment times vary because students are training, that's the deal that makes the prices possible. An appointment request on this site is a request; the salon desk confirms the time with you.

Accuracy & availability

We fix errors when we find them and appreciate a heads-up when you find one first. The site may occasionally be unavailable; the phones are the fallback that never is. Links to other sites, including the regulators, aid programs and scholarship providers we point to, lead to pages the school does not control.

Content

The words, photos, and student work on this site belong to Hays Academy of Hair Design or the people who made them. Ask before reusing them. Graduate stories appear with the graduate's permission.
