How much is tuition for cosmetology school?

Hays Academy of Hair Design in Salina and Hays, Kansas offers an extensive cosmetology program. The cosmetology program tuition is $15,900. Tuition pays for all books, tools, equipment, education and student salon production and supervision. Financial aid is available for those who qualify. Also, Hays Academy offers scheduled payment plans to cover any out of pocket costs not covered by financial aid.

Financial aid (for those who qualify) comes in three different forms;
1. Grants. Grants are moneys that do not have to be paid back. These funds are used to help cover tuition as well as living expenses in some cases.

2. Subsidized Loans are loans made to eligible undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need to help cover the costs of higher education at a college or career school.

3. Unsubsidized Loans are loans made to eligible undergraduate, graduate, and   professional students, but in this case, the student does not have to demonstrate financial need to be eligible for the loan.

Navigating student loan debt can be overwhelming. However, Hays Academy offers education in how to best manage your loans. This education includes paying interest early, making payments before loans are due and setting up automatic payments. Students have an open-door policy with our staff to ask questions and gain knowledge on their own student loan situations.
