Okay, we all know that at the end of the day, after putting the kids to bed and picking up the house the last thing we want to do is have to focus on makeup. You think to yourself that you will wash it off in the shower in the morning, but there are serious consequences to that kind of action and we want you to be made aware! Leaving makeup on can lead to the following issues:

  1. Your poor pores will look huge and be dirty! This is awful news, really.  You wash your face with special product to help reduce the visibility of pores anyway, but in all reality, you are doing more harm than good.  You see, in order for your pores to remain less noticeable, you have to keep your face clean. Makeup, if worn all night, will clog pores.
  2. Acne. A-C-N-E Acne. Nobody wants it and everyone freaks out when ‘planet pimple’ forms on your face! Remember how we told you to keep your pores clean and well maintained? Well, you didn’t.  Makeup and sweat and goodness knows what has become your life and it has amounted to Mount Everest resting on your face for all to see.
  3. Dry skin. Leaving your makeup on dries your face up and causes your skin to become tight and
cracked. The damage is done and causes really difficult means of covering it up in the mornings. By washing your face, then using a mask and using a great moisturizer after your makeup is off you allow your pores to breathe and be clean. This also takes away dead skin and creates a clean pallet for you to use when applying makeup next time.
  4. Speaking of dryness, this is the worst thing that could happen.  You use makeup to look and feel amazing, but it is hard to feel that way when your skin has aged significantly. You get out of it what you put into it.  Skin aging is the same thing as YOU aging. You are your skin, so take care of what you have.
